We first crossed paths on Facebook Dating in March of 2024. What began as casual messages soon turned into something special. From the moment we connected, there was a spark neither of us could ignore.
“The best love is the kind that feels like home.”
Our first date was on May 3rd, 2024, at Puttshack in Addison—a night filled with laughter, playful competition, and instant chemistry. The very next day, we met again at the Dallas Farmers Market, followed by a movie and a stroll through the Bishop Arts District. By Sunday, we had already spent a whole weekend together, and it was clear—we didn’t want it to end.
“We didn’t find love. Love found us—and held on tight.”
From that magical weekend on, we were inseparable. We talked every day—texting, calling, FaceTiming—and saw each other every chance we could. Our relationship grew naturally, full of intention and care.
“When it’s real, it doesn’t have to be rushed. It just flows.”
In July 2024, we took our first trip together. During that trip, Jermaine expressed his desire to be exclusive. Steven said yes with no hesitation—and for the first time, we said “I love you.”
“Love doesn’t need perfect timing—it just needs two hearts ready to grow together.”
From that point on, life became a shared journey. We celebrated our first Thanksgiving, Christmas, and rang in the New Year hand in hand. Each holiday and milestone brought us closer and confirmed what we already knew: we were building a life together.
“The best relationships are built on friendship, respect, and surprise birthday dinners.”
In February 2025, Steven planned a surprise birthday dinner for Jermaine’s 42nd birthday, bringing together his closest friends and family. The next day, Steven dropped to one knee and asked:
“Will you be my husband?”
Jermaine said yes—with love, tears, and joy.
“Love is saying yes again—and again, and again.”
In August 2025, while taking our engagement photos, Jermaine turned the tables and proposed to Steven with his own heartfelt surprise. The answer, of course, was another resounding yes.
“Two proposals, one love, and a lifetime to go.”
Now, we’re preparing for the next chapter: Our wedding day—September 18th, 2026.
We’re beyond grateful for everyone who has supported our love, our story, and our dreams. We can’t wait to celebrate this beautiful next step with all of you.
With all our love,
Steven & Jermaine 💍❤️
